Cusco - the Center of the World

Cusco was the capital of the Inca empire and it is the archeological capital of America. Places such as the Secret Valley of the Incas, Machu Picchu, and the Inca Trail are considered by many, the most awsome place in the world.

 

The Nazca Lines

The Nazca Lines are marvelous drawings of marine, terrestial animals, and geometric figures of unknown origin which still remain as an enigma. The figures are best viewed from the air.

 

The Amazon Jungle

The Amazon jungle contains the world's largerst rain forest preserve, with thousands of species of mammals, reptiles, birds, medicinal plants, and ornamental fish. The amazon jungle is paradise to nature and adventure travellers.

 

Lima - the Capital of Peru
Lima is a cosmopolitan city with rich history with colonial mansions and church buildings dated during the early Spanish settlements. San Marcos is the first university in the Americas and it is still operational. Wonderful museums such as the Museo de Oro (Gold Museum), Museo Larco Herrera, the Catacumbas of the church of San Francisco, the Inquisition Museum, the Catheral, the plaza de Toros, and the Cerro San Cristobal. Lima was also the birthplace of two popular catholic saints Santa Rosa de Lima and San Martin de Porres (one of the few black saints).
