Day 1QuitoThe long, thin city of Quito winds its way down a valley that eventually drops into the Amazon Basin. Take a short hike up for excellent panoramic views.
Day 2Baltra/BachasBreathe in fresh sea air and spend some time on Bachas Beach for a first glimpse of Galapagos wildlife. Discover why these islands developed a reputation among mariners as strange lands, long before Darwin visited.
Day 3GenovesaSpot fur seals and marine iguanas before taking to the waters for some swimming or snorkelling.
Day 4BartolomeAwake to the relaxing sound of waves lapping at the boat hull. Explore the solidified lava sheets of Sullivan Bay and see lava bubbles etched into its surface.
Days 5-6Santa Cruz/QuitoVisit the Charles Darwin Research Station on Santa Cruz to see drawings of the evolutionary development of endemic species and other fascinating information about the area.
