Days 1Arrival into MumbaiMumbai is an exciting city, where you find neo-gothic British architecture, fantastic world-class shopping opportunities, the heart of India's movie industry 'Bollywood' and some great local sights.
Days 2-3Mumbai sightseeingLearn about the glamorous Bollywood industry during a tour of the film studios. The next day visit Mumbai's sights and then have time for some shopping or further exploration.
Days 4 -5Ajanta and Ellora CavesVisit the World Heritage-listed Ajanta and Ellora Caves. Carved with little more than a hammer and chisel, Ajanta was once the retreat of Buddhist monastic orders. The Ellora caves feature monasteries, chapels and temples carved by Buddhist, Hindu and Jain monks.
Days 6-7HyderabadLively Hyderabad is a metropolis of crowded bazaars and grandiose Islamic monuments, and is famous as the former seat of the outrageously wealthy Nizams of Hyderabad.
Day 8HampiLocated in and around Hampi are the stone ruins of the Vijayanagar Empire, and one of the Southern India's most fascinating historical sites.
Days 9-10GoaGoa is an established tourist destination renowned for its beaches. Your time here is at leisure to relax by the beach or visit some of the local sites.
