This beach break is the perfect ending to a trip in Sri Lanka - just lie back and relax in the stunning surroundings. The curved bay of Mirissa has a beautiful soft sandy beach and calm, clear waters perfect for snorkelling. Your hotel is set high up on a headland with sweeping views of Mirissa's golden beach. Your simple wooden cabana has a veranda overlooking the Indian Ocean and a lush garden and the beach is just a short walk down the hill.

Day 1Colombo/MirissaA charming village in the south of Sri Lanka, Mirissa is a picture-postcard getaway complete with golden sandy beach and clear calm waters, perfect for snorkelling and swmming.
Days 2-4MirissaSleepy Mirissa is a wonderful place to relax and the ideal base for exploration of the surrounding area. A great option is to hire bicycles and cycle along the scenic coastal road to Weligama to watch the stilt fishermen. There are some delightful cafes on the beachfront, and some pleasant walks to nearby temples and viewing points. The perfect place to watch the sunset is Parrot Rock, a rocky outcrop in the east of the bay. If you're feeling adventurous, why not hire a surfboard and take to the waves.
Day 5ColomboAs all good things must come to an end, today it's time to bid farewell to beautiful Mirissa and return to Colombo for your onward flight.
