Day 1San AntonioArrive San Antonio, Texas - Tour Begins : One visit to San Antonio and it's easy to see why it is often referred to as the "American Venice." Sidewalk cafes, historic architecture, and a beautiful river centerpiece make this a truly remarkable city. The sights and sounds of the holiday celebrations are sure to get you into the spirit. After dinner perhaps you will choose to enjoy the Fiesta de las Luminarias* as you stroll along the San Antonio River guided by more than 2,500 luminaries. Today dinner is included.
Day 2San AntonioSan Antonio : Your morning begins with a fascinating tour of San Antonio with visits to the Mission San Jose, the Institute of Texan Cultures, the King William District and the Alamo. This afternoon, visit the Aztec Theater, one of the most elaborate movie palaces in the country when built in the early 1920's, and now on the National Register of Historic Places. Enter the Grand Lobby and view the massive 2-story iron chandelier and ornate detailing. Then, enjoy a guided tour before experiencing a movie presentation in the impressive auditorium on a screen over five stories high! Today breakfast is included.
Day 3San AntonioSan Antonio - Fredericksburg - Luckenbach - Bandera - San Antonio : The holiday season is a fabulous time to visit Fredericksburg, located in the heart of the Texas "hill country," with events and decorations flavored by its German and frontier heritage. You'll find something for everyone on your list in this shopper's paradise with over 150 specialty shops lining the downtown streets. Your next stop is the cowboy town of Luckenbach...enjoy a visit to the Luckenbach General Store which has been in operation since 1849. Tonight, take out your spurs for dinner and rootin' tootin' entertainment at an authentic dude ranch in the "Cowboy Capital of the World", Bandera. The ranch is all decked out for the holiday season and is certain to be a highlight of your trip. Today breakfast and dinner are included.
Day 4San AntonioSan Antonio : Your day is at leisure to discover San Antonio on your own. Spend time shopping for those special gifts at the colorful Mexican Marketplace. Perhaps you will partake in an optional lunch in one of San Antonio's local restaurants and see the IMAX presentation of "Alamo...The Price of Freedom." This evening, sit back and enjoy the view as your included cruise takes you along the Paseo Del Rio, also known as The Riverwalk. Then, enjoy a private cooking class. Experience the flavors of true Tex-Mex cuisine as you learn the art of cooking and making the perfect Margarita - then enjoy your creations! Today breakfast and dinner are included.
