Day 2-17 Mexico Begin in one of the world's largest metropolitan areas, Mexico City, and explore several not-to-be missed art and ancient artifact museums. Head south to Puebla where the street life will fill your days and nights. Visit Oaxaca for handicraft markets, the impressive Zapotec ruins of Monte Alban, the highland gem of San Cristobal and Mayan site of Palenque in Chiapas and the famous Yucatan towns of Merida, Cancun and Playa del Carmen, home of some of the best beaches in Mexico.

Day 22-30 Guatemala Deep in the Guatemalan jungle lies Tikal, one of the largest excavated Mayan ruin sites in the Americas. Visit the colourful town of Flores on Lake Peten Itza. Rio Dulce, the gateway to the Guatemala's Caribbean Coast, stands in sharp contrast to the colonial highland town of Antigua, and Mayan centres of Panajachel and Chichicastenango.
Day 31-34 Honduras Explore the superb ruins of Copan, with temples, pyramids and intricately carved statues, predating many European civilizations. Swim, dive or snorkel in the crystal blue waters, or simply relax on the island of Utila.
Day 35-40 Nicaragua Nicaragua has flourished in recent years and boasts both incredibly friendly people as well as impressive natural beauty. Granada's colonial charm is enhanced by the nearby active volcanoes and lakes. Day trips from here are a fun and easy option. Hike, cruise, or just explore the city's markets and museums.
Day 41-49 Costa Rica Costa Rica is a must-see for its breathtaking flora and fauna. Travel through the highland cloud forests and coastal rainforest and experience the full spectrum of the country's diverse natural highlights.
